.....in 3rd gear all the way to work,great ! After the bike finally being collected (over 3 hours later than promised) its been taken into the famous Battersea service centre. So tomorrow it will be looked at and it looks likely its going to need a gearbox strip down.
Let me say now BMW Recovery have been good and given constant information on supplying a hire car etc. The recovery company.......best I dont say, and I will be able to give my opinion on Battersea over the next day or so. Although the way I am feeling now I will be using the the Sales of Goods Act should I be told its going to be off the road for any lenght of time,after all 3890 miles surely not too much for a gearbox ??
