It flashes like mad, as does the red warning triangle, but the brakes seem to work ok. Took a ride yesterday, nothing wrong, took a break for an hour got back on and FLASHY FLASHY FLASHY! No rain and nothing at all done to the bike. Turn it on and off a few times, still FLASHY FLASHY, left it overnight, still FLASHY FLASHY.

Could it be the ABS sensors? How can I tell, and will kicking them make any difference?

check your handgaurd isn't fouling the brake lever!

or that your brake light is on

If it's on you need to see which switch is open

The ABS does a self check and if the brake lever is pulled it lists it as a fault as it deosn;t "see" the brake switch

I had a problem with my ABS light flashing when I drove, and I also noticed that the speedo was not reading at the same time. It turned out that my battery was low and was sending confusing signals to the Canbus. Changed the battery and (touching wood) all has been OK so far.
