Two mornings in a row I have gone out to my bike started it up and the red triangular ABS warning light has remained on with the ABS letters. Upon pulling away, the letters extinguish but the triangle stays on. Pulled over straight away, turned off engine but left keys in ON position in ignition, pressed and held ABS button for a few seconds and tried again. Everything seems OK again.
The only work I have done on the bike was to remove the full exhaust system whilst I treated it for 'browning', including removal of the Lambda sensors, result is less back-firing (Booo) and slightly better fuel economy (I may be just riding it smoother tho!).
Has anyone else experienced this problem with the ABS lights? Appreciate it if someone could tell me if it's a sign of impending doom.

Had my 1200GSA recovered yesterday to Battersea because of the same problem - warning triangle showing plus the 'brake failure' message flashing quickly! Stopped and re-started and the warning signs go away and everything seems fine for a while before they come back on again. :nenau
Then.... the servo goes altogether - practically no brakes at all!
The dealer rang today to say that the ABS pump was faulty and needs to be replaced. Andy, it may well be worth getting it checked out soon as!

Many thanks

Grendal,
Cheers Big Man, I shall take a trip in in the morning, local store is usually bang on, and they've got a fleet of new demo/courtesy bikes so it may get expensive one way or another!!
Thanks again tho.
