If I may ....

For you the start would be Harwich to Hook van Holland or Esbjerg depending on how much time you want to spend on the boat or Dutch German and Danish motorways.

I would recommend the ferry Denmark to Gothenburg then go up through the middle of Sweden on the E45 road. Cross over into Norway going from Ostersund to just north of Trondheim. I came back from Lofoten this way but not using the E14 - there is a road marked the 340 in Sweden and the 765 in Norway. Then take the E6 arctic highway all the way to the top.

Camping definitely the cheapest option :thumb2

I have over the years told tourists to pick the narrow, slow roads, with hairpins, and spend much time in the fjord area in Norway. And forget Sweden and Finland.
But if you must do as you told us, ok:
Get up north in Finland and Sweden fast, Nordkapp, and then spend much time in the south/west of Norway, on your way back home.

If you need to know how to get around in the area fast, ask John Bryden;last summer he rode as fast as he could from Scotland to Nordkapp and Moscow, stayed in Moscow for some days, rode to Germany for some days, and the back home.
He was alone, and tried to spend as little money as possible.

Or ask Lolo, a member here; she and her husband was in the area too last summer, but in a ''normal way''.

I have a sidecar too.
I really want to meet you!
If you are passing not too far from Oslo I can meet you somewhere, if you like!

:) Liv.
