This will be for work.
I am looking for one of the cheaper end of the scale GPS systems to be mounted inside my crane. The crane itself is a hoofing great big piece of machinery in the 200 ton range, and due to its size...even the articulated truck settings on some expensive GPS systems often prove useless.
The system I am looking for needs to no frills and do no more than from point A to point B with hopefully postcode search ( UK ), as I normally navigate to the crane site using conventional maps when getting near to the destination....this is to give me a mental map of the area and alternative routes in my head in case of traffic etc.
Is there any particular brand or type that is that little bit better than its competition...or at this price range are they all the same?
Thanks for the advice.
