Hi
Looks like the 10 of us from Belfast will be staying in Betws-Y-Coed for 3 nights and we are looking for some local knowlage on runs to do for a Sat and Sun. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

Plenty of runs available really, depending on Mileage. I haven't got any routes around North North Wales, But plenty around BTM North Wales, Mid Wales and West Wales, Reservioirs aplenty too. What time of year are you going. What Mapsource version have you got BTW (I have the latest update from last weekend. Also have V9). PM me your email and I will put some in the mail to you :thumb2

Make your way to Trawsfynydd check your map and take the back road over the top to Llanuwchllyn, stop in Bala then a loop over to Vyrnwy, etc.:thumb

Betws > A5 > Capel Curig > Nant Gwynant > Beddgelert (Ice Cream shop) > Llanfrothen > Plas Tan y Bwlch > Maentwrog > Llan Ffestiniog > over the moors to Bala > Lanuwchlyn > Bwlch y Groes (highest road in wales) > Llyn Vrnwy (tea shop) > other mountain road back to Bala > towards Trawsfynydd > right for Cerrig y druidion > left A5 (tea shop at Cerrig) > Llyn Brenig > left Denbigh moors to Pentrefoelas > Right A5 to Betws.

Think that's the best series of roads, but you could break that into two days and add in Horsehoe Pass, Crimea Pass and Nant y Garth Pass as well as Clocaenog.
I can do it in MapSource if you like - might take a couple of weeks as hectic at work at present
