Summer touring boot recommendations

I already own a pair of Oxtars which I use for short trips and every day riding.
These are great now that they have bed in a little, but not ideal for 8 days in [hopefully] hot Europe next month.
So, I've been looking at alternative summer boots, like the Altberg Hogg microlite. However, being the proud owner of a twat suit I of-course need to make sure the boots don't make me stand out any more than I already do

Any other suggestions out there I should consider?

I bought a pair of Altberg Bandogs last month and they have so far been great, comfy, relatively light and waterproof.
The only problem wiht Altbergs is getting hold of them. If they don't have your size in stock it's a two-month delay while they make a pair for you!

With a 600cc pot in front of each boot, I don't think it makes much difference. The boots are shielding you from engine heat anyway, which balances the heat they retain in warmer weather. I've actually moved from my Daytonas to a pair of leather hiking boots (Asolo) worn with gaiters. Much more comfortable to walk in and suitable for bushwalking. But heat wasn't a big issue, and I regularly ride in the 30-40*C range.

I've got a pair of Daytona Traveller GTX's I think...the top of the range one anyway.

I've had these for years, and although they are 'all weather' boots I've never found them too hot in high temperatures (up to the 40's).
They are comfortable, waterproof, good to walk in, and I'd never set of on a trip without them on....they are a good comprise of everything, and cover all bases.....Waterproof when wet, warm when cold, not too bad when hot, comfy to wear, comfy to walk in....a top notch boot.

Maybe not what you are after though.

Alternatively...I also I have a pair of Sidi Rain Evo's....great boots, waterproof...but considerably less bulky and hot as the Daytona's...although the fit for me is a little too snug. But a great boot.

However...I've never risked the Sidi's on a long trip abroad, not really cos they are unsuitable...but really cos the Daytona's are so good.

Daytona XCR are much cooler than regular boots and comforatble enough to take a short walk in as well.

These boots will look great with a pair of leathers/black trousers, my suit is light grey as below, (not the blue version, (only picture I could find))



So need something else, not sure what though, and even if it's available

My Daytonas look fine with my Rallye suit (admittedly grey and black not blue) but then again I've never been accused of being fashionable.

Altberg

Even if Altberg don't have your size, they sometimes have 'seconds' in stock. I got a pair where the only thing 'wrong' was a slight dimple near the toe on one boot. Even now I have to look really hard to find it. Instant supply, nice discount, great boots. Even better, you'll never have to buy another pair because they will resole, patch repair etc anything that happens to them! ( and they're British made, as well as good old fashioned craftsemen )

I have had them for about four years, they are completely waterproof, light and great for walking in ... dead comfy! ... and apart from a few scuffs on the leather uppers are showing no other signs of wear.
