Summertime Weekday evening pogo sessions

It shouldn't be too difficult to arrange a meet for someone who can't make it out until 1900 ish to join up with us .

Was wondering if this is going ahead, and if so, where I can meet you guys... I'm sure I won't get down there until 19:00 or later, but as sad as it sounds, I don't want to just ride down to sit in the pub (as much as I like pubs!) it would be good to get some riding in, perhaps if you have a designated route, you can mail it to me, and I can join on route somewhere/somehow??
As by the time I get to wherever everyone is, they've gone! I'm starting to get paranoid! :D

Cheers guys.

I'm up for it. On a GS with Tourance Metzlers and not a whole lot of experience but sounds too much fun not to give it a go.

We on?

Sorry chaps..........turns out I have to be in Nuneaton on Weds and working from there on Thurs so I'll be staying up in Harborough......

We can postpone or someone else can lead it fairly easily if they want to shout out now and let people know here......

Sorry!

Bugger!!   I was looking forward to this as well. If I knew the routes I'd lead it myself. Anyone else know the lanes around North Kent? - if so, please step forward. We need you for Wednesday.;)

Sorry Phil..

The route we took last year goes along the Pilgrim's way from Otterham until it turns from road to Byway, then along that a mile or two into the woods.

Just at the 'T' junction by the old overturned car, the straight on path is a Bridleway (Remeber we did that last year 'accidentally ;) ) but you should turn left up the chute to the top near Vigo.

There's a short cut-through which is legal very close to the exit (turn left IIRC for half a mile?) then within a mile or so there's the route down the valley where Spegoo ditched it.

I'm in Harborough now so I Don't have my maps to hand I'm afraid..but a quick trip to WHSmith's tommorrow and you should be able to find the routes fairly easily.

I seem to recall that Bill didn't know the route that well either-- at least not the difference between a byway and a bridleway:o :o

I just happen to have a very dirty ADV fitted with TKCs back from the Baltic trip that might just come out to play. How about an early trip prior to the next Eynsford meet? That way we can tramp mud all over that nice yuppy pub:D :D

Phil

Have to arrange a Sunday outing.

Your KTm must have more cobwebs on then mine!!

Dave

Dave, you're right. I'm going to have to brush the cobwebs off it soon as I'm going to post it up for sale.

Are we still planning on having a ride-out this Thursday before the Eynsford meet?

Yeah why not...a short bimble around that route maybe???

Not sure where I am Thursday yet...that's the prob with my job, but I'd like to have a play though :)
