Hello all,
I performed a mid point service (3000Miles) oil change today. Sadly, the sump guard was not in the mood for playing. Two of the nuts holding it were locked on too tight. Try as I might (with plenty of TLC) I could not get them off without breaking the thread (mid way) coming from the engine block. I am now left with no sump guard.
Should I order the parts from BMW or should I moan to my local dealer and get them to do it under waranty?
Surly this should not happen with a new bike?
All advise is badly needed.
