Having a full day run round Scottish Borders

Leaving Jolly Drovers Leadgate 9:15 sharp, call into Keilder Visitor around 10:15.. then off from there

For those with a Garmin GPS the route will be something like this

Great North Air Ambulance mystery ride out this Sunday, 10am from Aykley Heads.

As it's a charity thing I've managed to get a pass out for the day so will see where the ride out takes us then make some extra tracks from there..

If I come I'll be waiting at the jcn of the Military Road and A68.

Being a part-timer I'll probably shoot-off after Keilder, where the route passes near Carter Bar.

I was ready too early y'see: I'd watched the MotoGP, had me brekky and was sat twiddling me thumbs......

...so I set-off at a liesurely bimble....still arriving at The Errington Arms 45mins early..
I went for a wee run down the road and managed to snap the 3 headed Llama of Sandhoe...

...and tried to get arty with the camera..

It was abit chilly hangin' around so I carried on up to Kielder, getting passed by 2 1200Adv's, an Aprillia and a Kwacker on the Military Road.

Kielder was tranquil:

....very tranquil..

I discovered I only had an empty wallet and 55p in change with me, which meant could afford 2 sachets of the sauce of my choice, so I pottered off north, then east, turning south over Carter Bar for home...

Nah! But we were going so feckin' fast that there wasn't time

Looks like i missed a good day in the boarders . Had to fix a oil leak on the front brake master cylinder. Installed a new seal kit but i did not finish until 10 am .I still managed a ride out over to Middleton teesdale Kirkbystephen Appleby Brampton hartside then finished the day at Washington wetlands.

Doubt it... Run down from Eskdalemuir towards Bentpath? Just before narrow bridge take a left

then continue along passed the church rather than across the bridge and back onto main road?
