Calling all peeps in the Moray or Inverness area, im going to take a nice wee run up to Applecross via Torridon and Shieldaig tomorrow Sunday 28th. No fast pace just a nice bimble. Anyone care to come along ? Cheers, Del

Feckin ell Andy, you must be pretty close to me because im also in IV30 land. I will be starting from Elgin at a time to suit anyone who is going, but I like to start early because Applecross isn't next door lol. Leaving around 9am I think.

Cool - shall we say 9am at the Esso petrol station next to Dr. Grays on the A96 (West Road)? Am happy to go earlier if you like, we'll be up early walking the dogs etc. anyway

Been to Applecross today, on my way around the nc500, back now in Inverness. I have to say the roads in the Scottish Highlands are wonderful, the scenery is to die for, and I have been on several unspoilt beaches yesterday and today that have to be seen to be believed. Crystal clear water, lovely sand and absolutely stunning scenery.

Its food for the soul touring up here, I always come away feeling so much better.

And to top it off, the weather has played ball for the past couple of days .

Back to Nottingham tomorrow , but I'll be back next year.
