Thanks Bob for the bulb, much appreciated!!!
You're very welcome.
Here are some of my pics (probably too many). I arrived home around 17:00, covered 306 miles, and have given the bike a good wash.
Strangely, I wasn't cold at all . . I have a 'Chilli' heated waistcoat which is magic. That, the heated grips and the heat from the pots meant I was fine.
First to arrive at the Green Welly was Big Jets, soon to be joined by me. There were two other bikes there when we arrived - an R1 (

) and a Kawasaki GTR1400 (Ooooo I like that bike - but not as much as my GT

).
Soon, other 'Tossers' joined in.
Snow on the hills gave us a foretaste of what was to come . .
Garfield still hasn't managed to steam off that sticker

Here he explains himself to Packer and Den.
Ronno was travelling incognito . . .
Until we saw the overtrousers

Den, CC and Packer look on appreciatively
Most got to The Lochy without incident . . Confession time . . It was me

. I found myself leading the group and although I have been to The Lochy a couple of times I couldn't remember which turning to take. I pulled into the entrance to an Industrial Estate hoping that those following would carry on past and lead the way. So far so good - Packer and CC took the lead so I did a quick 'U' turn to fall in behind and ended up on my ear. The exit from the Estate was sheet black ice, I could hardly stand to pick the bike up. Fortunately a couple of passers-by gave me a hand. More sctatches on the engine bars but no other damage fortunately. This seems to be 'my thing' on UKGSer outings.
More of the assembled multitude.
After some very welcome soup, sandwiches and coffee, GC led us to a forrest track . . .
The obligatory photo shoot (or was it a fag break ?).
The view from here is spectacular..
The Royal Couple brought up the rear - chasing up stragglers you understand.
And to think Tash is trading this in for a F800GS

It'll be a good bike for someone.
Hmmmmm Nice Bike
Ahhhh - The nicest GSA on the Planet
As said - the scenery is superb:
Final farewells before going our separate ways.
In this weather it pays to put on lots of extra layers of clothing
If you are ever in Skye and need a bike . . . .
That's my lot.
Thanks to HRH Oonyack for organising the Run and to GC for the hospitality and for leading the 'off road' section. Rumour has it that there will be another in the spring. Here's hoping.
Bob.
