After a visit Alan (BTBR) Weaver the other day I think it only fair that I share with you all the new lighting system on my 1200GS.
The Hella FF50 Driving lights have been linked to the Main Beam and Hella Micro DE to the Dip via a switch, all mounted on a MiGSel light bar.
If you want to be seen on the road and see in the dark this is definitely a very worthwhile addition to your bike. Such is the brightness of the combination that oncoming traffic go from main beam to dipped headlights long before they even come into your field of vision. The uncertainty of the tightness of the bend or the rabbits/wildlife on the side of the verge is now all in your view.
I now enjoy riding my motorcycle at night as much as I do during the day; these lights really are that good and I would recommend that the time and money spent visiting Alan is worth every penny. Not only that there is an ample supply of tea / coffee and bacon sandwich from Alan’s good lady.
Anyway it’s nearly dark so it is time to take the bike out!!!!!!!!!!
