Hello all,

Just thought I would share my thoughts on my latest mod.
ADV Supermoto.

Wheels from an 1150 RT.
Had to fit speedo drive (2.6) so still correct at speed.
Longer rear wheel bolts from RT. Shim ABS pickups.

Other than that was really easy. Hardest part was the wheel painting.

Rides much smoother and handles so much better as 17" front makes for fast steering. Is top.

Ewwww........

Sorry Casey but that's really really nasty :o

If the beak came off, the screen and the instruments......stick on a little fly screen and some twin lights (think Triumph) and you cleaned up the rear end down to the seatline (no pannier frames, lift the zorst under the seat etc) then it's look balanced and cool, but with that whopper of a screen and the titchy front wheel it's just wrong :nono

Sorry :) :rob

Each to their own, much as the female cockroach is attractive to the male cockroach, but I think it needs to at least lose that feck-off screen and have the wheels in silver or black......perhaps even the orange of the seat/decals, but not that nasty blue....

front mudguard is too big now, also seat would look better without the red. But biggest problem... wheels are the wrong colour... style police :(

You miserable buch of Tossers! He posted it on here because he likes it and he's proud of it!!!!! :spitfire

You're all right though, fancy painting the wheels THAT colour!!!! :1/10

I know, let's all ride around on bikes that are all the same!!

I like it because it doesn't look like it's just been rolled out of a Mbw/touracrap catalogue

:beerjug:

:D :D

A GS with a hugger or solid wheels, carbon bits, slick tyres or any of that old tut on it ceases to be a GS IMO.....it becomes some sort of bastardised R11xxR or something ;)

:hide

If you're happy with it

Casey then that's all that matters! :D
p.s. tool shed needs creosoting ! :duck:

Bushboy i apologise but i can only agree with the other comments regarding the wheels.

I now feel that guilty about my comment that the best form of recompense that i can offer is to buy the wheels from you at a greatly reduced price ;)

This is one way that we can help each other :thumb :thumb

Moto mod

Hello Bushboy,
I'm a newbie tosser and would normally keep my opinions to myself, and let
each to his own, as I find when I feel strongly about something of beauty being
ruined I shoot my mouth off and cause offence.

So I'm not going to say anything about it.

Except.... What have you done !!!
