I have an 06 1200 GS with 17" ST wheels (by Pidcocks-the same as the one tested in SuperMoto Magazine). To edge further towards the "Supermoto On Steroids" look,i am thinking of the following;
1-Cut Down Screen
2-One Piece Seat
3-Big Footpegs
4-Ohlins Front & Rear
The only reference i have is the Touratech Catalogue,would this be my best source,or are there alternatives ?

The only one piece seat I`ve seen is the TT one but you`ll be able to source the other bits from other places, probably cheaper too!

Cheers,Big Lee,i must admit that i was expecting a few more post/opinions/suggestions as other threads have generated. Is the Big Supermoto Style frowned on in these parts?

No not frowned upon at all heres mine.

Yeah,big simp,nice.Mine is 06 Grey.As i said to Big Lee,i read through the threads he pointed me at and got an idea of the response.I am going ahead with the mods i mentioned in the opening thread,probably using Touratech for most of it.Depending on finance i may well go Ohlins front and rear(got a good price for supply&fit from PDQ).I would like to fit the Carbon Body kit that Chris Pidcock had on his Dealership Demo Bike (now sold on),but the thick end of £2K may be a wedge too far !! How long before i am likely to have done ALL the mods and tweaks ? Is it a case of "As long as i own the Bike"?

Care to tell us how much? I'm currently working on getting a pair from the US for just over £700.

I have done a fair bit of business with PDQ so got a deal as a result.It would not be fair to quote a price i am getting as a favour,but you have a bloody good price there,assuming taxes etc.are included.

Yes that's all taxes paid in the US. That's for the all-singing-and-dancing rear shock with the adjustable ride height etc and the front one.

:thumb Schtum.

There is more to doing mods to my GS than i thought.I was planning on using Touratech,then found Wunderlich and others.That being the case,can i ask the Congregation for suggestions for suppliers for the following parts for my Moto GS;

One Piece Sports Seat
Cut Down Screen (not cockpit type)
Wide footpegs
Rear Hugger(Matt Black & wide enough to cover a 180 Section Rear Tyre)

Fair to say i have enjoyed joining in on this site so will be sticking around.
