Surge / hesitation

At about 4k revs, only in 6th, when I put the gas on the bike seems to hesitate / surge before settling down. Is this something to do with the injection?

Bike is a twinspark 1150gs. It's due for it's 12k service shortly so I'll get it addressed then, just curious.

Injection sounds out of balance on the cables - i bet as well that the rubber inlet manifolds are leaking on the cylinder heads particularly the l/h side.Spray manifolds with wd40 & see if the idle speed alters - give them a good dousing.if they are then replace them as sealing them with silicon sealant doesn't work
