I will probably go on the first Sunday in Feb (hopefully no rain). Wondered who went from Surrey, and if people normally go in groups or not? I'm not overly keen on the motorway because it's boring, not sure which route to take.

As lovely as the ace cafe is, I've not got the slightest interest to ride there, especially as there are some fantastic country roads on our doorstep:comfort:P

Be a daredevil, a rebel, a seat of the pants adventurer....... Plan your own route and form a group of one, even if it's raining.

I think there will be quite a few at the Ace tomorrow. I know 6 of us that are off to Morocco in April are having a pre trip meet at 11am.

I'll probably be there at 10.30 ish :beerjug:

Couldn't agree more to be honest. I appreciate it's steeped in history as a bikers cafe, but the bottom line is that its an over priced cafe in an industrial site. I don't really get the whole ace thing ... :nenau

I might give tomorrow a miss. Done about four hours riding. I need to warm up a bit haha.

Is the café itself of interest? Didn't know it was a biker place. Just heard it a lot of times.

For years the 1st sunday of the month has been the traditional UKGSer meet and cogitate morning.
