Another of Blue Sweeper's superb tours of the Surrey Hills.

We started with a dozen tossers plus a Pole that joined us at the start. Unfortunately various mechanical maladies and early baths left only six of us rinding back to Newlands Corner.

No, it's not running - Jarv is behind pushing!

Finally, someone mentioned Furneux Pelham ford. Here it is (or, at least, a short length of it!):

A great day!

I merely had select the wrong gear on the way in and was looking for some traction:augie Note also the end of my mirror projecting from my rucsac:blast

Hi Greg,

Looks like a great day out! Any chance of a route map (or better still a Garmin route file?) Would love to see that sunken lane.

Regards
Rob

I'll post a .gdb file in the next couple of days (I'm out tonight)

Great day out - thanks to Roy and Greg.

Complete waste of time though, didn't see a single Wombat.

The Serow was the butt of a few jokes such as "where do you wind it up" and "better avoid the deep puddles", but I had a good time and thought the little bike was great.

I wish I had got Tommies slide and fall on video though. Classic.

That's Me

THe GS in the ford at Furneux Pelham is ME:D Greg didn't give us any warning that the lane is a kilometre long and very deep in places. Terrifying and great fun at the same time.

Do I get royalties for you using my image?

Regards,

Path.

P.S. Only 5 days til the BMW off road course :bounce1

Nice ford

Greg, great pictures thanks... can't wait to get a go at that ford:D
