To the OP
If you have factor lowered, i'm guessing you have a later LC
You need to go back to the begining with the Hex head ( model before the LC)
The bike came in 2 varient GS & GSA - & 2 seat heights and sub heights
It was for want of a word,
Factory std - with a stock seat height, It gave you a bike with around 850mm seat height
Now this is where it gest interesting
The bike came with a std seat which offered 2 adjustable height positions
So the GS
Factory std - std seat high 850mm
Factory std - std seat Low 830mm
Factory std - Low seat 810mm
The GSA -
Factory std - Std seat high 880mm
Factory std - Std seat low 850mm
Factory std -Low seat 820mm
S0 now lowering from the factory
If you wanted to go lower, it was usually a wilbers or hyperpro or Ohlins loweing kit
30mm lowered front & rear suspension
So the lowerd model now sat at 790mm with the low seat - Ad 30mm per seat/ setting if you want different heights
However this came with a catch
You needed to lower the centre & side stands by 30mm also, you dont need to, but trust me

30mm
Move foreward to the LC
This came in a factory low option
However, at a price and caveat
The lowering is done via the suspension (ESA) so to get factory low heights , you have the ESA on single rider soft and it gives you a new seat height of
810mm* note the astrisk
So This bike came in 4 varients
2 GS
2GSA
The options apply to both so one is not different to the other
3 seat heights all with 2 further seat height adjustments
2 differnt comfort levels comfort, normal
So you get
Low seat / comfort / normal (high/low adjustment on the seat)
Std seat / comfort / normal (high/low adjustment on the seat)
High seat / comfort / normal (high/low adjustment on the seat)
The idea being that you get a multitude of seat heights ( you do and dont
Now the factory lowering bit
the low bike comes with ESA suspension 30mm lower than the std bike
A lowered centre & side stand
However - remember the *
the bike is 60mm wider at the critical seat position
so the 30mm lowering is wiped out by the wider seat
So even with the ESA set to single rider / no luggage & soft, with a low seat 810mm it gives the equivalent seat height / arch of 830mm
so a short rider is on the tippytoes
to get back to 790 mm, you need a ultralow seat & bobbins that gets you to 800mm
So to answer your question
Yes it's a factory low
is it a problem - no
will you notice anything riding it
unless your riding so fast thet your on the edges of the tyres - no
off road , you have 30mm less ground clearance - do you measure what you can get over ??
With out getting shouty
Forget what you think, ride the bike and enjoy it
if the ""height"" thing affects you that much get a high seat and whack the ESA to high
