I have a factory lowered 2010 12gs. What options are there for changing the the front and rear shocks eg Wilbers/Ohlins which will be comparable to the existing height.
Your help would be appreciated.

Might be more of a problem if you have ESA but both manufacturers will sell you shocks any length, damping and spring value you want. It just might not be an off the shelf one.

If it is factory lowered it will not be ESA. The conversion back to standard height is simple (i have done it). New shocks as standard height:augie, I have Wilbers from Revs....they are excellent. You will also need a standard height center and side stand. They are regularly on Ebay and simple to fit. Depending on the model pre or post 08 ensure you get the correct center stand. There is a good thread on this forum detailing changing of shocks. If you are not sure don't muck about, get a mechanic to do it. If you go to revs they will fit while you wait...about 1.5-2 hours.

Any other info, give me a shout.

Cheers

Hi there,

Do you still have original/lowered stuff?
I have GS 2010 and thinking about lower it.

Regards

'fraid not...sold it all (Suspension + stands) with about 5K miles on it for £350 on ebay.

Cheers
