Ok so leading on from a previous thread on servicing stock suspensions etc
I contacted Nick at ABE http://www.allbikeengineering.co.uk
He can do the rear stock shock on my 2004 1150gs adv 40k for £100 plus rod for £60 if it's fecked, he also offered to do the front at the same time not sure of the cost but I would imagine the same, so a total for front an rear service between £2-300
My questions are
Is it worth it?
Has anyone here done both front and rear stock shocks and what was the transformation if any?
Should I stop being a tight feck and just by Ohlins Wilbur's or nitrons etc and sh1t can the stock ones
All useful advice gratefully received
