Sold Suzuki 650cc Vstrom XT

I have two bikes, my venerable 2011 81k Twin Cam 1200 GS and a Suzuki 650cc Vstrom XT and I want to reduce this by one bike and as the GS is, due to my history with it going nowhere so, the Vstrom is now up for sale.

1st. Registered December 2021
5832 miles
MOT’d until March next year.
Excellent tyres
Owned by me since March 2024
Extras:
Heated grips (Oxford)
Accessory bar
Front fenda extender
Spotlights (led)
Engine bars (Givi)
Good quality Hugger (Puig)
Centre stand (not a standard fitment)
Side stand foot enlarger.
Top box (it’s big and colour coded (ish) to the bike)
Tank bag (Givi)
After market more stylish mirrors. (Originals available)
Bike had an engine oil and filter change at 5780 miles
New battery at the same mileage fitted last December.
I upped the front sprocket by one tooth to 16t which dropped rpm at 70 by about 600 making for more relaxed cruising. I have experienced no downsides resulting from this mod.
The bike is in top class condition (as the pictures show) and rides lovely.
The bike comes with the spare key the handbook and service book.

Cheers Don. Yes, all well here thanks. Hope the same goes for you. Yes, the beast is staying put. The Suzy is a really nice bike, the engine is akin to a swiss watch but, i'm not riding as much these days due to much time spent in the campervan jollying about either with Sue or mates or solo come to that so, two bikes sat in the workshop not moving isn't sensible so, the pretty one goes

I get what you are saying and you're right of course. The thing is though, I don't need two bikes. I had the Himalayan for 5 years as a smaller alternative to the GS and when i tired of that i happened upon the Vstrom so i bought it, again, as a lighter alternative to the GS. I had the GS sorned for a long time as my thinking was that in my older years i would struggle with it but now, i'm 78 and find i can still handle it and have recently been putting the miles in on it and loving it. The GS and i have been a lot of places together, done a lot of miles making many memories and has never let me down, a faithful servant so, for that reason i just do not want to part with it which gets me back round to where i am. One bike needs to go and it can't be the GS. Am i being daft? Perhaps.

The V Strom 650 is a top bike that can do it all and is mega reliable. For me it's a no brainer keep the Strom and let the GS goes, head over heart on this one everyday.

Bike sold to Pan. What a pleasure it was doing business with him. He came up in a van with his brother and his two dogs from South Wales.
The deal went smoothly lubricated with cups of tea Once again the GSER family comes good. Thank's for all the positive posts guys. Cheers.
