Fabulous bike !!
The best parallel twin on the market . Just spent 5 days on one Gran Canaria . It just needed cruise which you’ve fitted . GLWS

Agreed Arsey tried the Honda transalp not for me, power to high up the rev range this is a lot better and 60 + mpg all the time.

Did you do the Canary Motorcycles trip ? 👍

Yes.
All the guides there rave about the DE.
I rode the Transalp there in Dec 2023 and it was always in between 2nd and 3rd gear and basically a PITA.
Riding the same roads on the DE, you could generally leave it in 3rd.
Utterly brilliant bikes.
I will be getting one in the future but timing not right for this beauty.

We were there a couple of weeks ago, great roads & good set up.
The Suzuki was getting some good comments.
👍👍

If you learnt how to ride and use a gearbox properly, you'd be reet 🥱

Sorry forgot to mention the bike comes with all the std parts and all paperwork in my name.

how do the tubeless tyres work with the spokes wheels?

Rim tape did not work slight leak, used ct1 silicon and it has not lost 1 psi since being done. PS the rims are set up for tubeless tyres front and back believe it or not.

so you glued rim tape onto the rims?

I think when he says glued the rim tape to the rim's he probably means he's used 3M tape or similar to seal the spokes from letting air pass out of the rim, quite a common mod .Well I hope that's what he means .
