Hello

I commute into Central London everyday from Weybridge and see half a dozen GSs every day. I'm sure some of you are on here so let's see you - it'd be good to say hi at the lights ;)

I'm on an 02 grey GS1150 with topbox, black Rukka gear and a grey off road helmet.

Show yourselves.

Hi Spa

Normally the A3 or A316 and then weave across London accordingly.

I'm on the M3 - A316 until Feltham most days
White 07 GSA with the ally topbox and red crash helmet,

Today though, I have wimped out and am keeping warm in the car:)

I wondered about starting a who commutes where thread!

I always wimp out of giving the :tosser greeting though.

Perhaps I should step out of my comfort zone.....

Red '07 GS with a nice bright HID and yellow fogs

I suggest when you pull up at a set of lights, beside another GS, you shout out TOSSER! and see what happens.

Chance would be a fine thing! Every other GS I see seems to be ridden by nutters who think they're on 250 trails bikes. There was a yellow 1200 on the M4 elevated yesterday who I swear was contemplating bunny hopping over a mini who was stopping him filtering!

I see lots of BuMW's on my walk to work from St Katherine's Dock to Artillery Lane, London, E1.

More in fact now that I have moved offices and no longer walk along the Thames footpath to Southwark Bridge.

Not one waves to me. Not even a friendly nod. Wankers!

PS I did though, this very morning, direct a bod on Honda 500 who was lost. He was looking for Royal Mint Court but was a bit offtrack, down near the Tower hotel. You can't beat the fellowship of bikers, eh?

That being said, I also directed a party of Chinese tourists towards 'Rondon Blidge' too. They probably meant Towel Blidge, but who cares? However, that was last week, so it probably doesn't count.

Perhaps if you wore a twat suit, twat hat, and carried ally boxes, you might get some recognition?

Hi Black london taxi on A3 with yellow light on the front, you must have seen me :augie
I'm the one that doesn't pull out or U turn in front of you :D

That's only because you dress like a banker :D

How do you know they were Chinese? You couldn't tell I was British :rob

in winter:eek:...hardore:cool:

Captain Oates has nothing on me. :D

Last night, on my way home in the sleet and dark, I conducted a somewhat unscientific survey.

32 two wheeled forms of transport spotted over the one mile journey, including a reasonable stretch along the main highway east towards Essex.

Over 50% were scooters, the rest all sports bikes, including two Ducatastrophes. Not one GS.

Seems girls on Vespas and the crotch rocket brigade are not as softcore as some might like to think. ;)

oh gawd

I commute along the A316 on both my 09 Magnesium GSA and my ickle KLE500, but this week i will mostly be travelling IN MY CAR :)

Heavy snow due guys and girls down our way over the next couple of days so drive careful and keep warm

Best go and get them gritters loaded and turn the fire on in the office for Moi :D
