Mine got nicked last night. The Police ain't bothered so I am not holding out much hope of getting it back!

My sister in laws boyfriend picked up his new 09 1200gs a week on Monday, rode with us last weekend, nicked from his garage overnight on Monday, they pushed it half a mile then tried to hotwire the ignition, when that failed they left it, its now in boldon getting repaired, less than 500 miles on the clock,

My son cornered a low life scum in my garagea couple of months ago, police responded quickly and dragged him out. Two bikes in my garage and a stolen Bultaco at the bottom of my drive.....I pressume the transit van was on it's way round to pick them all up.

Went to magistrates court and he said he was pissed, thought it was his garage and was just having a sleep!!! Prosecution made no mention of the Bultaco

He was found guilty of Burglary with intent to steal - (in dwelling) and of possessing a controlled drug and got a conditional discharge for 12 months

I just don't get it..............

I'm keeping an eye on E-Bay, but I don't think I'll see anything.

Its a nightmare isn't it? This is the first bike I have had stolen (and I've owned a K4 GSX-R 1000 and a Honda SP1) so I have no idea how the procedure works with the insurance. I called Bennetts last night and they said they would call me either today or Monday.

Can anyone tell me what the procedure is for this type of thing?

Keep nagging the insurance company in a nice sort of way, if you don't it will tke for ever to sort, a call every other day to remind them you still exist.
