My R80/7 swingarm had a fair amount of play in it that I could not adjust out so I thought I would replace the bearings. New bearings fitted and it's even worse, bearings preloaded etc as per the book the problem being the left side pivot just seems to screw straight through the bearing? So I swapped the pivot with the right side and the same problem, measured the pivot dimensions with vernier gauge and they are the same, both bearings also the same, what's going on here? I've made up a spacer to keep it tight and central for now, but certainly not what I should be doing, am I missing something obvious here
