Hi Myke

Sorry didn't realise I couldn't pm. £20.

I'll be returning from hols on the 7th July and will have a Vignette available - half year , half price - £15

Anyone wants one , pm me...........

Is it the same vignette for cars as bikes?

Taking the family down to South of France over summer and coming back via Swiss Alps, so will need a car one.

Every bugger and their dog is going on this Geneva trip.

....oh and I need one too for the end of July.

I have never heard of these before:eek: I went through Switzerland two years ago, and was completely oblivious of this:blast

Maybe you didn't go on any Swiss motorways?

The vignettes are only needed for Swiss motorways.

And it boils my piss every time I see a thread entitled 'Swiss Vignette' (or similar thereof).

Why the fecking hell anyone would ride to Switzerland and then use fecking motorways is beyond me.

Hoping to miss them entirely this year, but on previous trips I have used bits of Swiss Motorway to get to where I want to be a bit quicker - quite annoying as it is typically only a couple of short bursts of motorway, but probably not worth the risk.

This year we are winding our way to Andermatt over 3 days so we can tick off some extra passes at the French end, and leaving via the Grimsel and back up into the Black Forest so unless it is pissing down we will keep off the Motorways quite easily.

I just got back from the swiss alps, I always set my sat Nav to avoid motorways, which sent me on some lovely roads, on my way to interlaken. I never pay for the road tax ( or use toll roads in France ) because I like to have a good look around.
