Switched Live With Dynamic Brake Light

I need a switched live for a couple of gizmo's. I see people use the rear tail light, but the dynamic brake light completely switches the tail light off when it flashes. So i presume all the wiring for the rear light now goes through some box of tricks?? (FYI theres zero room to put anything under the seat now, without taking the whole plastic tail piece off )

BMW offer an additional accessory socket, where do they wire that back to?

Not sure wher BM wire it to but there is a very good switched live in a fuse block near the OBD plug/socket thing
