Switching off the headlight.

I've tried the search function and I've also waded through 68 bloody pages of posts in this forum and haven't found it.

Can anyone remember the procedure to fire up a 1200 in order that the lights will remain off...?

Try:
Ignition on.
Allow check to complete.
Press indicator cancel for 5 secs.
Press right indicator switch for 5 secs.
Lights should be off.
Start engine.
This will reset next time you switch off the ignition.

I hope this is right....I shall go try it....

It works mostly: Dipped beam stays off but sidelight and tail-light still stay on.

I think

To get the side light/tail ligt off you have to do a Chris said whilst staninding on one leg, whilst rubbing your tum with your free hand, and doing a renditiion of Bad manners "Ne ne na na na na noo noo".




But I could be wrong.
