Has anyone got any pictures of standard black system cases on a silver Adventure? Thanks in advance. :thumb

Thanks for that. Are they the large lids ? if so do you have any views from the back of the bike?

Yep, they are the Global lids - much better and great 2up or solo
This pic - what you looking for?

Them there lids, am i cirect in asuming they are deeper than standard? I have heard the term global lids, but did not know wot it meant. Are they BMW option, or summat?

They are an option - about £135 for a pair.

Deeper and you can get more in...........plus the BMW Pannier Bags have expanding zips to fill up the extra space (neat touch)

Got mine supplied as complete set of panniers, with locks and these Global Lids, from Motorworks - because you can't order them from your BMW dealer in that configuration ----stupid on BMW's part, I know!!

Can't remember the exact extra capacity in litres, over standard cases.

Makes up for the deficiencies in the standard boxes, IMHO - without going all the way to alloy boxes

Cheers for that. Great shot, I think they look very good and match the style of the bike well. :thumb Do they stick out much further than the heads? Is it a relatively simple job to switch between the standard lids?

About same width as bars........give or take

Simple.......drill the rivets out of the original cases and bolt on new Global lids with nuts & bolts supplied, then you can swap and change both sets of lids over in minutes
