T Max 560 versus Forza 750

I’ve got a 25 reg TMax, but have not had one previously to compare it with, other than other big scooters and my first scooter back in the 70’s a lambretta 175 :)
It’s actually up for sale some where on here, I’m not really into ‘bumping up’ and no rush to part with it. Oh and it does have polished rims.

Yeah mines the same model as yours less the ohlins & pipe. Yours looks the biz , it handles better than I expected, I’d say the ohlins makes a huge difference? I don’t think I’ll be willing to put big money into it as I agree with your comments about waiting for something which is a bit more radical to change up. It would cost me 7k euro to change up to the current model. They ain’t cheap!! I’ve a new MT10sp to keep me giddy.

I’ve heard mixed reports on the Akra pipe. Do you think it actually makes a difference to performance or mid range ?
There is a chap selling his Akra on the facebook page, his pipe doesn't fit the 25 model. Ref Ohlins, going to try a new rear, it should arrive next week.

No it’s quite quiet . Prefer a Termigoni as they are smaller lighter and sound better . Mine came with the Akra so it will stay .. All the extras are great but similar cost for me to upgrade despite the first owner spending £18000 on this T Max 😢

. With mine having full Ohlins .
My 2016 Burgman 650 has been an absolute revelation so far. Easily quick enough, especially when ‘Power Mode’ is selected, and very comfortable to be on for a whole tank of fuel. Which is only 15 litres but at 55mpg that’s a theoretical 180 miles. I wouldn’t trust it past 150 mind. The only problem I’ve found with it is the suspension. It’s fine on billiard table smooth roads but with only pre-load adjustment and no rebound it’s way too harsh on anything else.

So poor that the bike becomes unsettled on bends if there are any bumps on them. I’m looking into suspension upgrades and so far have only found YSS that offer rebound adjustment. Hagon do them but they too are pre-load only I think. Can’t find an Ohlins fitment at all. It will probably be Hyperpro progressive springs for the front as there is no adjustment on the forks.

The Maxi Muppets forum might be able to help with solutions for the suspension problems, there does seem to be quite a few posts about it: https://www.maxi-muppets.co.uk/forum/index.php

I sold my tmax last year. I really miss it and I'm looking for another one. I can't stomach paying the ridiculous 17k here in ireland and they are rare second hand.
I bought a 20 one last year for 7.6k euro. The market is week for them here.

I took a Forza750 out the other week. There was nothing wrong with it at all, but it was a bit meh!
I was a bit surprised as I really like its X-ADV sibling.

I've got a mate who has a Forza 750 and really loves it

He keeps saying I should have a go on it. yet he never throws me the keys

My mate also has a Forza 750 which he loves. Think they are good scoots and a lot cheaper than a TMax. I test rode both the Forza and had previously ridden the 530 TMax. I bought an unregistered 2024 TMax at a discount as the 25s were arriving. I decided, I didn't want gears and not a chain, happy with belt drive and cvt.

Each to their own, I would have been happy with a Forza if I couldn't have got a good deal on a TMax.
