Yes it comes with the straps attached. I'm on the ferry on Friday to France for a couple of nights. I will let you know my opinion of it on my return. If you need bigger then there is always the OS-18.

Does that have rigid sides?

You do know that a "Triple Black" is not a separate model?

Have a look on EBay for Triumph tail packs. Some neat, good ones - just not huge.

Al

Kreiga for me too. Love them been across Africa Europe and always reliable. And dry.

Cheers for that JerseyNeil and PetrolheadsLDN. Sad to say I don't have plans to ride across Africa, but sounds like this bag will do for a weekend touring Wales ;-)

Blackal - yep, I know it's just a colour ;-)

Well, there's a couple a few packs I like the look of that've been posted here, so thanks for the recommendations. I've actually ordered the Kriega bag. Thanks all for taking the time to post up details.

You'll not regret it, they really are quality bags, enjoy!

OS-12 arrived yesterday. It's surprisingly small, can't see how I'd get a pair of jeans, trainers and anything else in there! Asked about swapping it for an OS-18.

Think outside the box.... Wear shorts.

PS The 12 in the bag's designation is its capacity expressed in litres. Quite how large did you imagine 12 litres to be?

Maybe take some smaller shoes, rather than these :aidan

If you'd bought the 30L Lomo you would have got all your gear in it and had en extra £40 to buy yourself a few sherbets on your awesome weekend away. :augie

Kriega do 'exagerate' their sizes a little I feel, however as a big fan (I have most of the range - except the OS stuff), their quality, warranty, waterproofness (is this even a real word?) and best of all, it's praticality and ease of use puts it way ahead of its rivals and I can live with the 'small' sizes - I'd just buy the next size up :-).

I can add my name to the list of recommenders for this quality british product range.

Yep, maybe I should leave the clown shoes at home. And point taken, Jersey GS ;-)

I have just packed my OS-12 this evening for my trip tomorrow. I have packed;
shoes, 2 pair socks, 2 pairs grundies, 2 longs sleeve t-shirts (put a clean on on in the evening and then wear it to ride in the following day), toiletries, charger for phone and helmet, stop & go puncture kit with cylinders, first aid kit, leatherman, jeans, relevant documents, cloth for wiping my visor, breathalyser (yes I know I don't need them), cable ties, spare fuses.

Hi viz vest in my rear pocket of my Rallye jacket and I'm good to go. I accept you won't fit sweat shirts etc in that size pack and if I needed to carry more then I would use my panniers but I like to travel light on a weekend trip.

As said ditch the clown shoes :beerjug: or maybe return it for the OS-18.

Blimey, you must've crammed that stuff in! Anyway, Rukka have said I can send it back for a refund and then I'll buy the OS-18.

All rolled up tightly.
Just got back from my weekend in France. It was just the job.

Cheers for the pic JerseyNeil. On a different note, where did you get the frame protectors and extended mudguard from?

Frame protectors are standard on the Rallye model (but I suspect you can now order them from BMW for any GS/GSA.

Mudguard extender from Nippy Normans.
