It seems that Tiscali have joined forces with TALK,TALK.:pullface
I have been with Tiscali since mid 90's not had too many problems that they couldn't sort out.:bounce1

Have a look at what Tiscali offer and compare it with TALK,TAlLK
There could be slight differences in price or something.:nenau

talk talk used to have possiblyf the worst reputations in uk broadband, with tiscali not far behind.

check out the current situation here

I have been with them for a couple of years, they were victims of their own success in the beginning, now they seem okay, their overseas tech support guys were really great when I had a problem :thumb2

No probs with mine, fast internet and a reliable wireless connection

I was with them two years only had line problem, with the phone not working, got on their users forum ,and it was sorted by next day, and no problems since, decided to switch one line back to BT two weeks ago and had no service on that line since, BT don't seem to be able to get the meaning of the phrase "The problem is at the exchange" and keep sending engineers to my property instead of the exchange. But then again thats not talktalks thought i suppose it's my fault for leaving.

I've been with TalkTalk for 16 months now. I'm paying less money to download 3 gigabyes per hour than I was to BT for dial-up access. I've had one problem when the ADSL modem lost its setup. Once I got hold of a techie (second line technical support after the lady in India coudn't fix the problem) he talked me through resetting the modem then, from his end tweaked my connection speed to something pretty quick (I'm 220 metres from the exchange apparently). I have since found and printed the manual for the modem so any subsequent fooling around with it can be done any time it needs to be done. I'm happy with the service and see no reason to change when my contract expires. As an aside, my previous email address [email protected] still works after a little tweaking in Outlook Express.

Thanks for all the input guys , have decided not to use them .

Ask them (your SP) if they impose any charges if you decide to cancel your connection.
Also, do they need any notice for cancellation/moving to a different location??

It can cause issues....
