Tall tosser here, 6'6"

But not so wide

Find I have to buy jackets that are too big to get the arm length, fine in the winter when you can layer up, but all flappy in the summer with a t-shirt underneath

Similar with the trousers, they just tend to be too short

Am using a Rallye pro 2 at present which is the best compromise as they do long length, but would like more choice, any ideas?

But........exactly the same here!

Anything that fits in length is like a sack (and I'm erring on the side of tosserdom here) or, alternatively if it fits in the waist ir chest has respectibvely short arms or legs.

Problem for us tall folks is that designers design for the normal shortrounds, and then the mfrs just stretch the measurements pro-rata which is bollox!

I always have to buy kit that fits in the legs/arms ratehr than body/waist.

I have a Bering Austral jacket and trousers and the trousers can be made to fit PORGs or normal height persons by either tucking up the leg using the velcro that's built in, or letting it all out, IYSWIM.

I lived there for a bit and loads of tall guys riding motorcycles there.

Aerostich Roadcrafter comes in a huge range of sizes and lengths.

I have a 46L which fits me like a glove (6' 3" x 46" chest x 40" waist x 34" inside leg). If anything, the leg is too long and would almost certainly be good for a 6' 4" rider.

I find that the perfect remedy to the flapping jacket syndrome. Seriously though I do know what you mean there must be some very strange shaped people in the textile industry.......or perhaps its just me!

Have you tried looking for custom made textile gear? I know some of the manufacturers do it, pretty sure Rukka do, but I am sure there are others on here with the knowledge who will be along in a mnute

I'm a tall, skinny rake (6'5"). The kit that fits me is:

Clover
I've had a two-piece Clover fabric suit for about 6 years now. The trousers came in an extra-long length. Wasn't a stock item for the dealer I bought it from, he had to order in the long trousers, but worth the wait. The jacket had lots of adjustment around the arms, chest and waist to pull it in around my skinny frame. They don't sell exactly the same jacket anymore, but it's something like the one in this link.
I think they still sell the trousers, linky link, I can check the product code on mine if needs be.

+1 on the Aerostich ruse. I've got a Roadcrafter in a 46L. Still a bit baggy-er than I would ideally like. I think they will modify a suit to fit your dimensions, drop them an email, very helpful company.

I have a pair of their "Dakar Pants" . Like the Clover, they were a special order for the dealer as not something he normally stocked, but the 34 Tall fit me great (Very nicely made too ) linky link

Hood jeans
They don't do extra long lengths, but they admit that their jeans do end up in a range of different lengths anyway. When I bought mine, the very nice lady agreed to dig out a pair that had come up longer.

Finally, another company that I've heard do extra long stuff is Halverssons. I've not bought any of their gear, but you might like to check it out. Linky link.

Edit: I've also given up trying to get knee armour to fit in the right place. So I tend to take it out of any trousers, if fitted, and stick some Dainese Armour underneath, like this stuff. Far more comfy.

I'm 6'6'' too and around 15 and a half stone. I've happily worn a Hein Gericke Master IV jacket for the last 7 years and 100k+ miles.

Trousers wise I've given up on the idea of finding a waterproof textile set that come close to fitting properly but have had a pair of BTK leather troos since the age of 19 which are still going strong after 17 years, the linings been worn through and raggy for a while but the leather's still in fairly good nick. For the price (still under £200) and the made to measure service they're ace.

Hood kevlar jeans are available off the shelf up to 36'' leg lengths and so far I'm impressed with them although I've not done many miles in them yet.

A pair of 10 quid Belstaff overtrousers make it into the topbox for wet days, they're way too short but keep the worst off. Come to think of it, I've had them for a decade or more too.

As above i use Revit gear(Dutch company) Cayenne trousers and Off Track jacket the trousers come in different leg lenghts i am 6ft 3" and have the standard lenght the extra long would be fine for yourself.Had the gear 2 years found it to well made and good value.
