Tank bag map pocket on R1200GS

Has anyone got a map case mounted on their tank (and not a tank bag)? I need somewhere to put my non-waterproof pocket gps, mobile phone and mp3 player to plug into my brand new shiny autocom, preferably where I can get at them to change song etc.

I have just purchased a oxford lifetime map/tank bag for £14.99 from Busters, it has suction pads to hold it on the tank, and works well, holds a map and a few other bits..
