Tank bag question.

Bought a tank bag off eBay a while ago for my 07 1200gs. Was told by the seller all bits were there for fitting it.
I never actually used the bag and have since traded the bike in against a GSA WC.

Fitting the bag would have been a clip at the front and a zipped fitting for the rear of the tank (no clip, just held on to tank with double sided sticky velcro)

I'm selling the bag tomorrow but don't want to rip anyone off, so can anyone tell me if this sounds right?

It's the large motorrad bag.

Don't know if it's anything like the GS one, but the back of the bag zips to a bracket that is attached by two screws at the rear of the tank. No velcro involved.

It's exactly right, I have the same one. The zip part hooks under the tank cover and sticks onto a Velcro pad which is stuck to the tank

Cheers T mac. Looks like I've been hoodwinked! My zip part hasn't got a hook on it. I'll have to find one before selling it.

Why not post in the f/s section stating exactly what's missing. You never know someone's tank night be worn out/stolen/whatever and yours will fit the bill. JJH

If I'm reading this correctly it's the bit that hooks under the tank with the zip that you need? The one for the GSA tank bag? If so I bought a new one a couple of weeks ago that doesn't do what I hoped it would. It's yours if you want it.

Im sure there is also a version that doesn't have that style of bracket, think it hooks under the fuel tank instead?
