another tank bag question

Purchased a quick lock evo tank harness for my gs700 yesterday, fittied in five minutes looks the part great i thinks to myself.

Went to fit the bags connection engage tank bag and it wont lock into position as the ignition key is i the way ?, has any one come across this problem or know of a solouion to over come it.

You might be able to take locking ring of bottom of tank bag and move backwards if there are additional holes, if it's like the givi locking tank bags

Yep i looked at doing that but i doesn't have any movement. My feeling is that when you purchase a piece of kit designed for a specific bike you should not have to modify it.

I may contact SW Motech as the importer and see what they have to say.
