I need to get a tank bag for my new Adventure. I used to have a Touratech bag on my F650 that was fine but I seem to have a larger choice now.

I'm not sure if I like the look of the Baglux 'bra' but it could turn out to be useful and protective.

What do you reckon?

Both . . . go for it unless you're thinking of long-haul overlanding stuff. Then the other makes, e.g., Touratech that allow "elephant ears" attachments might be more functional. For day-to-day use you can't beat a Baglux!

which bag

can anyone tell me which baglux bag is best suited to gs
cheers wes:confused:

which baglux

Yep, Baglux can!

Got mine from them direct, 01745 338080. Just tell them the model & colour; I ordered mine at 4.45 pm, arrived next day 9.30 am!
1st class product & service.

Any depending on size you want, but the ones designed for Trailie bikes won't fit - the length between the clips and buckles is shorter for the small trail bike tanks - and also the bigger three tiered ones are too cumbersome when it comes to folding them back to get at your petrol filler cap.

I use the Alpha bag. It's expandable and has about the right capacity for a day trip or more without being too bulky and obscuring the instruments/GPS etc.

Try Heine Gericke - a fair bit cheaper and still good quality. Bought one this year when I took a GS for 6000 mile test ride round Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia. Was waterproof, taken a fair bit of abuse, fitted well, easy to get on and off.
Only critism is that the zip tags on the bag to base zip do not both have rings to allow a padlock - handy when having a piss in foriegn filling stations.
Also will take the extra tank saddle bags.
