Tank Bag which one ?

I have the BMW one and I am very happy with it. Nothing broken, the worn corners come from putting it down on the ground.

The map pocket on the top is actually a tech pocket. It has a rubber surface inside so you can place a smart phone or tablet in there and operate the touch screen through the plastic cover. I like the way the waterproof cover can be rolled up and secured out of the way.

Bags connection.

Bags Connection City Tank Bag

Bags Connection City tank bag every time, it's infinitely better than the Touratech and other ones I've had in the past.

Installation of the tank ring takes just 5 minutes and fitting the supplied mount to the bag takes 10, then you're good to go. Clicking the bag onto and off the bike subsequently takes just a second or so with no fiddly straps. It's very well made, has sensibly placed pockets, and allows full lock.

That looks good.:thumb Does it have a map pocket?

The bag is made of some very heavy duty cordura-type fabric which isn't in itself waterproof, though it has stayed dry through all the recent rain I've ridden in. The bag comes with an elasticated and waterproof slip-over cover as standard though, but I haven't had to use it.

I had a kriega us-20 that I used as a waterproof tankbag previously on other bikes but I'd still rather have this one.

Good to know. I guess with the protection of the GSA, it would take quite a storm to get the tankbag wet.

I've got the small bmw GSA tank bag and I'm pleased with it. Enough room for camera etc without it being "to tall". :thumb2

Not in my experience - always very careful about when I out the back down, typically on its side. Mine wore (not as bad as pics) within a couple of weeks and so I had it replaced. Now that I've got a topbox I don't use it at all. Way, way too small capacity. If touring I can see merits of sticking phone in there to charge from separate lead etc but for my 1.5hr commute the topbox is king.
