His ears still flap and he sits still. He moaned a bit in the top box that had a hole cut out for him, so I guess he likes this better

Nudibranch.....I love the sheepskin seat, very Afghan.

I used the slim BMW tankbag first, but the zippers failed very soon. Got a slim bag from Touratech next. It has lasted much longer. I like the Touratech design with its bigger map case. Only problem is that it doesn't sit well on the bike and slides easily side to side. Still prefer it over the BMW one.
Only my own humble opinion. 
i gave up using a tank bag for the simple reason when your touring and you stop for a break or visit a city or town is what to do with the blasted thing.
Do you leave it on the bike and hope it doesn't get nicked along with all its contents. Or carry it around with you which is a pain in the arse.
Another reason not to use one is you tend to carry more stuff more clutter that you think you might need, but really don't.
Save yer hard earned cash don't buy one and get used to riding without one, it's easy!
