does any one use a tank bag on a GSA with up and back bar risers, ive got a little Givi tank bag thing which i cant use anymore as the bars foul quite a lot, any one got any suggestions ??

My mates have those and it looks like the pride parade when they are walking about carrying them.
Just carry the stuff you need in your pockets.

I have a Wunderlich tank ring version. The ring came off my 1250RT and fits the 1300. On the GSA, it needs 2 washers on top of each of the provided spacers on the tank ring, to clear those ugly BMW tank bag brackets. If you reverse the lock mechanism under the Wunderlich bag (4 screws), the bag then sits further rearward and doesn't interfere with the phone cubby.

I agree with that, don't think I've even got the strap anymore but it is usefull for things like glasses, wallet for toll roads and stuff when your sat at traffic lightd
