What tank bags are you guys and girls using? BM one is nice but at over £180:eek: is bloody expensive. Which TT ones fit?

Need it for a Euro tour this summer so needs to be able to hold a decent amount as opposed to a day dag

TT and Famsa

Richie

Got a TT one on my 1200ADV and it`s excellent quality and holds a fair bit of gear. It also has a removable map pocket on it which is A4 size so it a great size. If you get one, you may want to protect the tank because the bag seems to sweat and affected the paintwork on mine. Also, the Velcro which hold the bag on are a bit of a faff but overall, it`s a good bit of kit.

Got a Famsa bag on my 1100 which isn`t as big but great quality and value. Map pocket isn`t as big though.

I have a BMW R1200GS one never used but has been in storage for a year.
£90 + postage

I've been using the Wunderlich bag which is custom made for the HP2 - fits like a glove, expandable, comes with a tool roll and a map case. Highly recommended :thumb2

I adapted a TT bag from my former GS1200ADV, some scissors work, velcro and power straps and you´re done

The original HP2 one is crap. Too small to get a folded map in. I often wonder what they are doing when they design stuff like that - do they never test it beforehand in the real world?? Only bought one because I had a 50 Euro bonus card.

I had one of those for my MM. Worked GREAT. Mine had the top part of the bag sewn on off-center. I called they guys and it seemed like they were all this way. I sent it back but would love to have one if it didn't look like it was sitting off-center on the bike. I should give them a call and see if the flaw has been recified. It was a great bag.

Tank Bag!

Hi Richie,

I'm using the TT HP2 tank bag with the mapcase and raincover off my old 1150GSA TT tankbag!

It's a bit of a pain taking it off to refuel the bike as the front strap keeps falling into the headstock area I'm gonna zip tie the strap in place and that should fix it!

I'm also using the TT HP2 tailbag also with another TT tankbag raincover to keep it's contents dry in the wet.....!

FP.

13 litres expandable to 19 litres.

According to their website, it's "Showerproof".

Oops, missed that question. Material is 100% waterproof, but as with all soft bags it's the stitching and zips which seep in heavy downpours, but also comes with waterproof cover.
