I removed the tank cover, side panels etc, but I can't get them back properly - it isn't seated properly round the petrol cap, and the filler cap surround isn't entirely flush with the tank cover. Also the gap where it joins the rear of the beak is a bit bigger on one side.

I've tried loosening everything and wiggling it about, but it's made litle difference. Is there a specifc way to do this, or order to tighten up the bolts?

Which way up do the rubber spacers around the filler cap go? Forgot to note this when removing it (d'oh!).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Robin.

This is from memory as I watching the rugby and ain't going anywhere to look at my info on the main PC but the 3 rubber spacers for the petrol cap should have the notch on them facing upwards.

I found it beneficial to join the beak to the tank panel first before connecting anything else.

Hope this helps :thumb
