R&G racing do lower fork and swingarm bobbins which I have fitted on my standard 08 GS.

Cylinder heads are usually protected with crash bars - as well as BMW's own ones that are other makes such as the Hepco and Becker that I also have.

Engine bars are usually easy to fit, but you will need the correct size torx to undo the BMW bolts (for the H&B ones anyway)

As the SE comes with cylinder head guards make sure whatever you get can be fitted with the head guards, it also makes things easier if the design allows for the rocker covers to be removed without removing the bars.

Oh and I think I got a set of see-through paint protector sheets from Nippy Normans for the top of the tank and the side panels - I believe the SE has the same panels as the standard so these should still work - pain to fit mind you.

BTW as of this morning very glad a fitted the engine bars - had one of those annoying 0mph choices between straining my back or letting the GS slowly down on its side :( . Picked it back up and the engine bar is slightly marked, and my hand guard has a small scratch but no other damage :comfort
