tank wrapping, know anyone ?

Mine is booked in on Friday morning :thumb2

Not cheap if you want the 3M titanium brushed black  £100 on materials

But it will look good. Just taking the panels off. Bit fidley but half way done.

Are they coming to you to do it?

Cheers, i was think about £150 for the whole job but if the materials are that much it may be a bit more, worth it tho

£100 materials and £100 labour. Not cheap but after looking at Matt black and satin there was no alternative. The titanium brushed looks great even just on a roll.

I'm taking it to them and it will be done while I wait. All panels off now so tank completely accessible :thumb2

So, are you taking it to them with the panels off? Or did you take them off at home to see how to do it?

Look forward to seeing it!

Will get pics up ASAP :thumb2

I've taken them off ready to have it fitted. At £100 in materials I'm not going to try it as I had a go on my 1200GSA side panels and it's not easy

I will ride it down Friday morning as only 15 mins away. I will try and get some pics of the chap doing it as well. :beerjug:

Only took 20 mins to tear it down. :thumb2

All done mate but I'm on nights so will try and get some pics up when I wake up later today. :thumb

Very pleased and it looks the nutts :D

I will do a new thread with pics as I took them all through the process.

I'm looking forward to seeing it:thumb

As per the you tube vid in post #1 don't order "Titanium Black" as this is not Black this is Titanium and is nothing like Black
Re-ordered now in Black, fortunately I am able to sell on the unwanted Titanium.........
I should never have trusted the video description, who uses a word like "endurability" :blast fuckwit!

I went into Bahnstormers today to see my knew bike, the good chaps there are fitting all my extras free of charge and getting me a quote to get it wrapped before i pick it up on thursday, over a week early so i can run it in on my fortnightly trip to the Ardennes.

Cant wait to see it all blacked up :)

Let us know how much they quote, as I'm getting my bike from them, and would like it done before I collect it.:thumb
