Hi fellow Tossers,
I have just bought a secondhand 1200GS tankbag from an excellent tosser Jim (tyddewi), unfortunatly I do not have the fitting instructions for it.
Could someone please send me a scan of the fitting instructions so I know where to stick the velcro at the rear of the tank.
Thanks :)

Hi Rod, do a search on it as theres loads of ideas of where the velcro should go. I have mine all the way at the bottom of the tank resting on the little lip. You need to pull the bag out then down to get it to reach the zip. :thumb2

Hi Big Lee,
thanks for the reply, I've done a number of searches but no luck, I guess I'm using the wrong search words, tankbag, tank bag, velcro, etc.
A lot of info about mounting it using metal brackets but my tankbag is the large one with the sticky velcro/dualock pad on the tank, I don't want to stick the pad in the wrong place and have the bag moving about, I thought the proper instructions would indicate where to stick the pad
Cheers

Well I`ve looked & looked myself and can`t find anything either :( I know there was threads on this a few years ago but can`t find them. :nenau

Just stick the pad on like I said :thumb2

Tankbag Velcro

Take the seat off - attach the velcro piece to the zippered piece on tank bag. Do Not remove sticky cover ! Install tankbag on bike and pull on zippered piece back and down and hold against rear of tank with considerable down force. Use a few bits of tape to mark edge locations of velcro piece. Remove velcro piece from tankbag and apply lining up with tape. Easy Smeazy
