Tappet noise

Could be a stupid question as this is my first bmw but around 2500 to 3000rpm the tappets are louder is this normal as the bike has just had its 12000mls service and the tappets were ajusted? My bike is a 1150 gs adv.

That's why you shouldn't work too hard at trying to cure the buffeting and wind noise......you start hearing very worrying agricultural noises. Good earplugs and a Remus end can tend to sort this out very efficiently
