Also, not necessarily cheaper, make your own with www.pennineoutdoor.co.uk toying with this, seems more costly, but they're light and small pack size. Just need to carry two or three trees

I've got a "tarp" , purr-chased from Gecko -

i'm normally shaped, so didn't need a strange shaped tarp, like other "members"

You sure it's the same - the measurements of this one are 3.50 x 3.50 meters so that suggests it square whereas yours was a rather unique non-square non- oblong shape. Might be worth checking.

I like the look of Zwervers one - that's a good idea if the material is thin enough so it is light weight and packs up small. I may check that out - there's a surplus store near me and I know I can get good aluminim poles.

and of course you can shorten them it you mount (somehow) fore and aft of m/c...I've been working on this

Don't have a picture (yet) of the packed tarp, but it is leightweight, and package (rolled-up) is about 20 (long) x 10 (dia)
