To add I had some Beowulf dongles baffles made from perforated stainless that fitted into the stub pipe. They were still noisy.
I also tried a cheap dB killer ( the type with punched out tabs) cut and angled to fit the stub pipe. It just corked up the system.
The same type with parallel end (not flared out) don't need to be cut & angled and gas flows around them but they do cut the noise.

I opted for the Leo Vince in the end. It just looks a little smaller and off course was a bit cheaper. All good

As mentioned on your other thread Dellboy. Give us a report on it when you get it as I'm quite keen on the Leovince can myself. Much cheaper than an Akrapovic.
