Hi all,
I recently tested a 14 plate LC GS. One thing I didn't like was the engine wouldn't run smoothly at 30mph in 3rd gear - it kept surging which wasn't nice. I've asked about this on the LC forum and one of the replies mentioned that the newest bikes have engines with a heavier flywheel which smooths things out dramatically. At the back of my mind somewhere was the notion that twin cam GSAs also have a heavier flywheel than TC GSs - does anyone know if this is correct please? If so, would that smoooth down throttle response and slow speed running, or is it a case of heading to Hilltop again?!
